Victoria Anderson has a B.A. from Lakehead University, a diploma in Early Childhood Education, and 10 years of experience working with children with special needs in various settings. She obtained her Autism Interventionist Recognition of Achievement through Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario. Victoria has 5 years of experience working directly in the field of Applied Behavioural Analysis. During 3 and a half of these years she worked at a private behaviour therapy center for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. In this setting she began as an Instructor Therapist and quickly moved into the role of a Senior Therapist. She was one of the Teachers who started the Preschool Program and after a year teaching, moved into the role of Preschool Coordinator. Victoria has also spent a school year working as an Educational Assistant with the York Region District School Board. For the past 10 summers Victoria has spent her time supporting children with special needs at Camp Robin Hood in a summer camp setting. In her role for the past 3 summers as a Camper Relations Team member, Victoria was responsible for implementing strategies for problem behaviours, liaising with the families, and training staff to work effectively with each camper.
